Social Commitment

Stafford Moore, PLLC

The Liberation Fund

A NATIONAL CIVIL RIGHTS ORGANIZATION BUILT FOR CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM.

The Liberation Fund was created to fill a void in the pro bono legal market that has often failed to serve those who have been most affected by police misconduct. With the continued loss of life due to state sanctioned violence and terror aimed at Black Americans, there has been an international call to action for all who seek an end to police misconduct and police brutality. We work to shift the aims of corporate responsibility and BigLaw legal strategy to assist in dismantling the structural racism that allows for a lack of accountability in policing.

Social Commitment

Stafford Moore is committed to advancing equity in underserved communities and our firms’ ethos is focused towards extending our energy and talent to causes and initiatives that speak to this. It goes without saying, we have a responsibility to end systemic oppression and make a difference for our communities to receive social justice. We bring the same level of fervor and expertise to this pursuit as we do for our clients. To achieve this goal, we provide pro-bono legal services to community members who cannot afford counsel through The Liberation Fund; and we are minority owned and managed.
